Acting & Technical Production

Acting and Technical Production prepares students for work on stage or backstage, on screen or behind the scenes.

The acting course will focus on your development as a professional actor for film, television and stage. With graduates such as AFI and Logie winner Deborah Mailman and Michael Dorman (The Secret Life of Us), Conrad Coleby (All Saints), Gigi Edgley and Ryan Johnson (Thunderstruck), QUT acting graduates are highly visible.

Technical production students acquire a solid grounding in all aspects of production, working in areas of stage management, technical and production management, lighting and sound, event management and multimedia.
